art gallery
CARRASCO was created as a platform to connect people with contemporary art.
As an art gallery, we aim to support the potential of both emerging and established international artists, bringing their contemporary expressions to the public through communication, exhibition, and the sale of their artworks.
We opened our first physical gallery in Lisbon in 2018.
In early 2020, we expanded internationally with the opening of a second gallery in Madrid, Spain — a pioneering step among Portuguese galleries.
CARRASCO operates across multiple geographies and concepts, using different locations to present diverse artistic perspectives to varied audiences.
We currently operate without a permanent physical gallery space. This mobility has become part of our identity, unfolding through curated interventions in selected venues and especially through a continued presence at international art fairs.

starting point
CARRASCO gallery, under the direction of Pedro Carrasco, located at Beco do Carrasco.
If there’s no such things as coincidences, this one indeed happened…
Back in 2018, Pedro was looking for a place to start his project - CARRASCO gallery - and discovered a perfect one, cubic, in a small street, which has precisely the same name as his own, not very common, surname.
June 22 was the starting point.
