Vacarme du silence
The Vacarme du silence exhibition is based on a selection of a set of “book” drawings, with visual notes by Meunier Viana.
The 21 drawings were made without the intention of being exhibition pieces. They are moments and have no individual or rational title. Its name “Fade to…” reflects the title given to the exhibition: a silence, a thought, an emotion that fades into illustrative writing.
In all of them, Meunier Viana, from a fragment, develops some ideas about a dialogue with silence. The mind is taken by a phrase, an image, an emotional experience that arises and “fades” into an image.
“These are the noises of my moments of inner silence” as Meunier Viana describes.
